Ankle brace dynamic

The dynamic ankle brace (tarsus brace) is made to order and consists of two plastic shells that surround the ankle joint. These shells are connected by a pliable hinge that allows for a swift range of movement. The ankle brace offers support to the joint and muscles by guiding the surrounding anatomical structures in their functioning. If the inward or outward motion (extension or flexion) needs to be limited, a “stop/brake” is added during the manufacturing process to limit this motion. If necessary, a ROM hinge (Range of Motion) can also be used. The benefit of this is that it provides temporary fixation, after which movement in the joint can be increased gradually.

The dynamic ankle brace can be used for:

  • Instability in the ankle joint
  • Hypermobility in the ankle joint
  • Post-operatively
  • Arthrosis
  • ...
